Let’s fight the air and spread a fire ball
That shall not pass with arms or legs in heat,
But we’ll be there and see the meaning, small,
Embracing souls, tonight, beneath our feet.
The mighty fog, the castle and the light
We’re forced to hunt inside a starving heart,
Are just in vain or lesser than the fight
For love to be a place occult and smart?
Where are we now, in heaven or in hell?
The demons brought the silence with their mean
Emotions carved in deepness as a spell
For those the Earth will be the last they’ve seen.
My life is victim to your arms, along
With trees and rocks that are already strong.

The poem of my mind is mind itself
And no one should sustain that’s only dust,
Because the finest book stays on a shelf
And represents the voices of my lust.
Emotion brings together two or three
Ecstatic words by writing them on stone.
I want to swim with blood in veins of spree -
Tonight, my love, denude me bone by bone.
Behold the sense of sun in sour ash
Day after day, and maybe months, to stare;
At some point, there, your very tears may bash
The fire flies we used to kindly share
As our rings of light that brought one love
In stepless stairs from deep to way above.

My strength goes up and down, but underneath
The surface pales behind the sharpened goal,
And what I’ve done to see this field of heath
Is nothing but a light wave for my soul.
Instead of being wealthy I crave more
To add all voices in a box of things,
Which I, myself, shall dig through to explore
Along with skies of angels without wings.
My grief is just the chance to be alive
In poverty of Universe and times,
But stay with me and calmly learn to hive
The cloak of silence from those helpless rhymes.
My throat is now guitar with thousand strings
Enforcing pain to humble ‘till it sings.

It’s all about the side of what you fake
When simple hands can’t make the spirits grow,
And tell me, dear friend, why did they take
A glance to put it where is hard and slow
To sharp my fading wings with stainless steel?
I guess it’s just the time to weep and merge
With one i love… Like Romeo I feel
Beside a storm of clearence; human purge
The grass in ash to all that shall not be…
Increasing shadows from our piece of land
Sunset in bloom or blaze is what they see,
Because no man will try to understand
That only truth beholds a filthy lie,
And eyes are stars that weren’t meant to fly.

Spre nopţile uitate-n târguri grele
Eu mă îndrept cu paşi mărunţi şi singuri,
Când nu mai pot a îngropa prin crânguri
Faţada ştearsă-a României mele.
Omor cu gândul feţe inamice,
Mă-mpiedic, sobru, de un trai grotesc,
Şi asta-i ţara-n care azi domnesc
Picioare strâmbe, semne şi varice.
Privirea mea se-ndreptă către pleavă -
Organice nimicuri, cu pretenţii.
Zadarnice-ntrebări se strâng la poartă,
Trăiri intense-n veşnica dumbravă,
Când locului, pe rând, incompetenţii
Conduc o Românie-aproape moartă.

Cascade din ceruri se varsă agale
C-o rază înfiptă-n străfund de genune,
Pe-o albie goală lumina îşi pune
Cenuşă în poală şi pete astrale.

Spirale de sticlă revarsă oceanul
Din colţul văzduhului ars de rugină,
Răzbate prin ploaie un ciot de lumină
Asemenea serii ce-aprinde aleanul.

Vitraliul transpiră ca boarea încinsă,
De cioburi tresar licurici în surdină
Departe, spre raiul luminilor grele,

Şi ziua clachează pe-o rază împinsă
În gândul rănit de un ciob de lumină,
Ascuns, prizonier, într-un cufăr de piele.

Doar dorul tău mă prinde ca un cleşte,
Şi nu mai pot dormi un somn profund;
Pe cer te văd… tu, stea care-mi sclipeşte,
Prin ochi pătrunzi şi-n mine te scufund.

E trist, să ştii… (mirarea mă-nconjoară)
Că niciun stol de păsări nu cuprind,
Din cerul tău aprins de-atâta vară,
Decât un fulg şi-acela plin de jind.

Uşor să crezi îţi pare că minciuna
Îmi ţine-acum scabrosul adăpost,
Când geana ta mi-e dulce cum niciuna
Nu îmi va fi, nu este, nu a fost.

Subţire creşti în mine ca o floare,
Şi te înalţi prin suflet cu pudoare…

S-au consumat poeţi-n alte veacuri,
Cum azi nu au rămas decât o filă,
Şi-n poezia noastră, de argilă,
N-au tresărit cristalele din fleacuri.

Priveşte, tu, poet cu păr de lapte
Şi-n grabă mi-i arată pe sub geană,
Artiştilor cu mintea suverană
Talent să le procuri pe lângă fapte.

Dar mersul vremii le dictează foaia,
Pesemne-i arsă de-un avânt grotesc,
Când a citit în lacrimi numai ploaia

Am prins, tardiv, elanul nefiresc
Să-nchid cu versul rece şi odaia
Poeţilor, în care azi trăiesc.

Când omoram gândacii în cartea ta, Vasile,
Simţeam că pierd un înger (pe rând i-am tot pierdut).
Goleam spre tine sticla omorului; Idile
Se aruncau în colţul noianului stătut.
În onorisme clipa, crescând înspre iubire,
Am ars-o fără noimă, şi-acum mă tot căiesc,
Când tu, poet din floare, cu-a ta nesăbuire
Spuneai, uşor, femeii: “Iubito, te iubesc”.
Dă-mi astăzi a ta umbră, s-o port cu vitejie,
Căci focu-mi este searbăd, şi frică de eşec
Îmi pare infinitul, dar tu, în poezie
Ai stat şi vei rămâne acelaşi intrinsec.
Ştafeta de-ai preda-o, mi-aş ascuţi simţirea
Cu ce-i mai bun sub soare, cu cerul, cu iubirea…
